Hope and Health Returns to Nanaimo

Kw’umut Lelum is very proud to be one of the primary sponsors of the 8th Annual Hope and Health event, a soccer-based movement that engages Indigenous youth and children to improve long-term health and life outcomes.

The Vancouver Whitecaps will be headed to Merle Logan field in Nanaimo on August 19th to interact with and inspire Indigenous children & youth (ages 6-18) providing a full-day camp of skill & drill training. However, this day is more than about sport; it’s about building resiliency, self-confidence, and relationships that are important to develop a positive sense of self.

Any child from one of our nine Member Nations can be registered through Kw’umut Lelum. Simply fill out the registration form here and send it to our office:

Fax: 250.591.0935

If your child does not belong to one of our Nations, they can still attend, but please make sure you identify their Nation on the registration form.
