National Aboriginal Day on June 21st

Kwumut Lelum will be celebrating National Aboriginal Day on June 21st, along with the rest of the country. We hope our friends and family take a moment to reflect on the diverse cultures, unique heritage, struggles and achievements of indigenous people in Canada. And as we continue to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary this year, National Aboriginal Day should be an opportunity for all Canadians to learn about our country’s history, and its diversity.

Whether celebrating as part of a city or community-wide event, or with a family gathering at home, we wish you a wonderful National Aboriginal Day.

Please note that Kwumut Lelum offices will be open on June 21st, but closed Friday, June 23rd.
