Prepare ducks for dinner

Please join our facilitators Eric, Sarah and Delilah Jones from Snuneymuxw First Nation to prepare ducks for dinner!

Session #1 Date: October 13th, 2015: 5pm – 7:30pm Where: Kl Mini Bighouse, 544 Centre Street Session #2 Date: October 27th, 2015: 5pm – 7:30pm Where: Halalt Community Hall, Chemainus Road By the end of the sessions, our goals for each KL youth are: 1. Have a taste of duck 2. Observe the preparation and cooking of a duck 3. Understand the traditional significance of ducks to indigenous people 4S Cultural Programs are available to each youth in care of Kwumut Lelum. Youth must be supervised at all times by a caregiver or an adult approved by each child’s Guardian. A light dinner will be provided at each session.
