Prepare and jar salmon


Please join our facilitator Paul Wyse-Seward from Snuneymuxw First Nation to prepare and jar salmon. Saturday, September 12 11:00am- 3:00pm Snuneymuxw Bighouse Kitchen By the end of the session, our goals for each KL youth are: 1. Have their own jar of salmon to take home 2. Learn the process of preserving fish 3. Understand the traditional significance of salmon to indigenous people 4S Cultural Programs are available to each youth in care of Kwumut Lelum. Youth must be supervised at all times by a caregiver or an adult approved by each child’s Guardian. A light lunch will be provided at this session.
