Cedar Collection and weaving


Please join our facilitator Dave Bodaly from Snuneymuxw First Nation to make each child their own Cedar Headband! By the end of the sessions, our goals for each KL youth are: · Have their own cedar headband to wear proudly · Learn basic cedar collection and weaving skills · Understand the traditional significance of clothing to indigenous people 4S Cultural Programs are available to each youth in care of Kwumut Lelum. Youth must be supervised at all times by a caregiver or an adult approved by each child’s Guardian. A light dinner will be provided at each session. Please RSVP to KL no later than June 19, 2015.
